Prerequisite
- Private Pilot Licence
- 18 years of age
- Class 1 medical that is obtained from a Canadian aviation medical examiner.
Course Requirements
- A minimum of 200 hours of flight time and 100 hours of Pilot in Command time including 20 hours of cross country hours. All previous flight time counts towards the Commercial Pilot Course. Time building may be required to reach the required time. The Commercial Course consists of 65 hours of flight training and 80 hours of ground school (online). The breakdown includes the night rating and VFR OTT.
- 35 hours of dual instruction including: 10 hours of dual instruction incl. 5 hours of cross country. 20 hours of instrument time (10 can be on a simulator). 5 hours dual night.
-30 hours of solo flight time including: 25 hours practice including air work and radio communication. 5 hours of solo night. Straight line cross country of at least 300 nm with landings at 3 other airports than departure
